The 3x5 font by Keith Bates (K-Type) is a pixel-style typeface based on the squared lettering used for art folders at the former Joseph Eastham High School in Salford. Most letters are constructed on a 3-square wide by 5-square tall grid, giving the font its distinctive blocky, geometric character. Version 4.0 (2026 release) features a refreshed design while maintaining the original retro-pixel aesthetic that made it popular for digital art, retro gaming visuals, low-res displays, and nostalgic design projects.
